Alabama's played Tennessee since 1901. We're not giving that up because the SEC decided to add two teams last year.

Wait...you think this has been an issue since last year?

No. This has been an issue since the SEC expanded to 12 teams with the inclusion of Arkansas and USCe and BAMA and UT decided they needed to keep their hatefest AND be in separate divisions. For the sake of 4 teams (and let's be honest, it's only 2) the SEC has had a cluster frick of a schedule for 20 years trying to accommodate this bullshite.

The fact that it's even worse now with adding two more teams just makes it even more obvious.

But we are where we are because the O was putrid v Florida and honestly Florida while ranked highly isn't that good

And we are here because we pissed the Bama game away with poor coaching decisions, stupid penalties, missed FG and poor play in final 2 minutes of each half on D.

Well said

This LSU team regardless of SEC scheduling should have found a way to win one of those games.

If it makes folks feel better to bitch about Slive ok. But this team had a chance to be a 1 or zero loss team and we did not get the job done.

It sucks but let's not whine about the schedule.

Indeed

All the whining makes our board sound like 11-14 year olds complaining about what is not fair. We can complain about Florida, but they also have to play US!! Not an exciting proposition from their standpoint. The rules were the same when UT was a damn good team in the decade of the 90's, and with Georgia and SC now.

Take care of business, and there is no discussion about fairness

Saban's not going to live forever. Neither will Miles. There's always drop offs when coaches get replaced. Had Kiffen stayed at UT they might be pretty good right now. Don't know why you'd think UT will never be good again.

Are you high?? Kiffen was/is/always will be a narcissistic train wreck of a coach!

But you ARE right about the ebb and flow of programs with drop-offs after coaches leave. Didn't everyone enjoy the years 1995-2007 when Bama was down(sometimes WAY down) and a non-factor. Now they are surging strong. It will happen again with UT/Auburn/Arkansas, to varying degrees

It's really simple. Give Bama & Aub a choice to either join the east or give up that rivalry game. Vandy can come over to the West.

West - aTm, LSU, Arky, Mizzu, MSU, OM, and Vandy

East - UF, UGA, UT, Bama, Aub, USC, Kentucky

Gumps...Will that work for you? Shouldn't be a problem right??
