Why can't you challenge penalties in the NFL?

I would guess that about 85% of bad calls in the NFL are on pass interference or holding penalties. Why aren't coaches allowed to challenge?

Because penalties are all subjective.

Umm no, offsides, false start, delay of game, illegal forward pass, illegal formation, illegal touching (5 yards beyond line of scrimmage) are all objective

A foul is the violation of a rule....the penalty is the "punishment" for that violation. Why the frick do you think coaches should challenge the proper enforcement of a penalty? If the penalty is 5 yds it's never 10 or 15 yds.

You can challenge illegal forward pass
You can also challenge if the ball was tipped at the line negating a pass interference.

but to answer the question....I imagine if you could challenge if a holding was called when it shouldnt have been, then you could challenge if a holding happened and wasnt called.

That all i ever see him post. He gives minor corrections on the nit pickiest shite possible and then acts like a hardass for knowing that obscure rule and tries to ridicule/gets pissed at you for being wrong

I can't think of anything specific off the top of my head but I see a lot of bad calls that aren't reviewable but they very well could be because they are cut and dry.
