How did that impact us now if any? A lot of people forget that happened.

ETA - We were preseason #1 in the coaches poll, then fell to 3, and fell again later even though we kept winning.

What does it matter?

If we beat Alabama, we are in the BCSCG right now. We didn't, though.

You are the highest ranked 2 loss team, can't ask for much more than that.

Remember before the season when the AP delayed their ballot so that everyone that had LSU #1 could move them down when Tyrann Mathieu was run, and USC bumped up in our stead? I wonder how those people feel about that USC vote now.

That occurred because the offense played like shite and the D was gassed and headed to the showers. This time the D was beat with a good game plan and the offense and special teams took up the slack to preserve a win. Don't see us dropping in this case. The team took a big punch in the gut and got back up and fought for the win against a DIV 1 school, not the lower div teams we played to start the season.

I could ask for a hell of a lot more than that but it doesn't mean I'll get it.

This, B8

Plus, there's a body of work now, 10 games into the season.

Early in the season, they're trying to figure teams out. By now, they think they know them.
