at your post for a while. I bet you're terrible at every Halo installment prior to Reach. Probably no higher than level 22 in Halo 2, and a field major in Halo 3. 
How's this for evidence...Halo: CE, Halo 2, and Halo 3 were the #1 titles for MLG. When Reach was introduced to MLG, it was taken off the list. Fan boys who aren't very good at Halo don't mind the changes. Why would you, it helps you out.

Well they are both coming, but 343 is insisting right now that to see your rank you need to go to halo way point, but they will cave.

Like it or not, CoD has changed the landscape for shooters.
until something else comes along to shake things up, you will see competitors mimicking popular concepts from CoD.
I feel like the core gameplay of Halo is still unique, despite stealing a few concepts from other sources.
Halo 4 is not a disgrace and I feel like that's a gross over exaggeration. Then again, I'm not trying to run around citing my rank like a hardass either.

This is basically what I'm saying. Halo was a great game before before CoD, so why the need to change and narrow the differences? Halo is unique in it's own way. The more it changes, and "shakes things up" Halo will only continue to fall off as the top title in gaming.

I never said Halo 4 was a disgrace. I never even said I fully disliked the game, but I did say I didn't like the fact that it has many similarities to CoD.

Decent app for it on Android. Im sure there is one for it on iphone as well. I do like the 1-50 idea of the older games. Hope they have the de-leveling aspect too so when you play bad, your ranking takes a hit. I always liked that. It wasn't like the games now that the more you play, the higher you rank up whether you are good or bad.

Agreed. I was so close to a 40 in Halo in Lone Wolves and everytime I had positive k/d ratios for about 4 games, I just knew I would hit it. Then the next game was be horrible and I would actually go down to a 38. Like none of the previous 4 games mattered.

I know the feeling. I have a 50 in Team Slayer, Snipers, and Doubles, but I could not get a 50 in Lone Wolves! I couldn't get past a 45
