Any experience with MSI GT70 laptop?

Getting ready to order a laptop. Right now I am leaning towards an Asus ROG laptop b/c I like the way it feels and it has great ventilation. The MSI laptop has caught my attention too, but I haven't had any personal experience with it. I was wondering if anyone else has and can provide some insight. Thanks in advance.

13in/15in MBP then.
I heard those MSI gaming laptops are pretty nice, but at a form factor of 17"??? My god..
All none ultrabooks just seem shitty to me also. I like well built compact laptops. Macs and ultrabooks really only deliver that.

That damn RoG crap.. I love everything RoG but just think the red is extremely cheesy.
Would love my next MOBO to be a RoG board but the cheesy red design turns me off.

Can you customize it or the backlights completely off?
Oh nice, no red FTW. That is a huge reason I usually go with EVGA or MSI products because that red is terrible. To be honest, any color/LED/UV shtt is pretty lame.

I am leaning towards ROG too, b/c of the non shiny finish and it has 2 fans and 2 vents vs 1 fan 2 vents on the msi.

I'm so glad companies are moving towards a matti/non-gloss finish.
My Razer Blackwidow died 2 weeks ago and just got in the new 2013 Blackwidow yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised that is comes with a non-gloss finish.
No more wiping your equipment 100times a day to get dusk and finger prints off of it.
