Man I'm glad I don't watch this show live, or even 3 weeks off anymore.. you guys seriously know how to turn on your disbelief for a show like this.

People that complain about this show instead of just turning it off are like the apple fanboys of American Television.

Actually, the thing I find most annoying about the show (besides Charlie's terrible acting, of course) is Monroe's wimpy voice. For some reason it bugs me that a fifth or so of the nation named the Monroe Republic is led by a fella who can't talk louder than a whisper.

I think I watched the first 3 bc the idea of the show intrigued me. They just did a real shitty job executing it

At least Charlie showed some 'side-boob' this week. Almost made it watchable.

All I want to know is how they are going to explain people not being able to use electricity any longer. If it comes down to some bullshite "satellite the government put in space", I may shoot a puppy.

I quit watching it and deleted it from DVR after episode 3. I too was drawn in by the idea, but the acting is terrible, and I just couldn't watch any longer.

It's not even the acting for me, it's the ridiculousness of the things they do. I can get passed the fact that all electricity magically turned off and that somehow caused the country (world?) to go into complete chaos and shite down the government. I can get passed the fact that 10 minutes in I was asking why nobody uses crank start motors to run Diesel engine vehicles. You've gotta be able to accept these things in order to watch a show like this, and I did.

What I can't take is the fact that somehow a whiny little girl who got mad at someone for poisoning three guys trying to rape and kill her, and constantly seems on the verge of tears can walk up and discretely shoot someone in the face, can overpower a man who probably doubles her in weight. Not to mention she is some expert woodsman who apparently makes no noise and can here someone coming from miles, yet her Uncle can sneak up on her whenever he wants.
Also somehow Miles is the greatest swordsman in the world just bc he helped train militia, and then spent the last however many years drinking away his pain (and apparently training diligently).
Also one rifle can apparently stop an army bc for some reason they've resorted back to muskets; bc even though these Militia are now controlling half the country they haven't figured out how to make ammo without electricity...

It's like they made this show with all these obvious plot holes, and just said frick it, throw in an attractive lead girl and some fighting and you've got a show...

Without a doubt, Revolution is the dumbest show to ever appear on American television.

Minus charlie I actually really enjoy this show, I don't get the hate. All of the bad guys are actually well done characters

i haven't watched this past monday's episode yet but i'm starting to lose interest pretty quickly. i love the concept and i think they have some great characters minus charlie but she is so bad its turning me off to the show. she is useless, a terrible actress and not hot enough to make up for her shortcomings

I skimmed over a synopsis of this weeks ep, since it was pre-empted by the Saints game in NOLA.

Looks like I'm done with the series.

Is that not what you got form the trailers? My kids and I laughed at the trailers and said these exact things.

I just tune out when she talks, which is only about 3-5 minutes per hour long episode so it's whatever, the concept + villains are worth it, the coke boss was pretty funny

i actually enjoyed revolution tonight. probably because charlie had very minimal interaction and screen time with no storylines centering around her. tonight's will keep me watching for a few more weeks or until charlie is no longer bearable

I like the show and have just accepted the fact that there are giant holes in logic and that the main good guy actors are pretty shitty. I really enjoy the show, for the most part, simply because I want to get the backstory on the blackout and Miles.

But can we go one week where they don't end up in a tight spot, Miles says frick it and goes to surrender himself, and then he miraculously gets out of it and they all escape?
