When you first pop the disc in and start playing? Yes, it's fricking insane. But after about 20 min you learn how the combat system works, and it gets so much easier. It becomes not only playable, but very enjoyable and extremely rewarding. Unbeatable? Psh. Once you know how to play, it is a very fair game. And you'll beat it.

I haven't played BL2, but I do have 1. I would have picked two different games, but hope he enjoys the ones he picked up. Good thing is Metro and Witcher 2 can both be picked up cheaper at anytime, though if he went with those two he could have played them and then picked up the other two when they were cheaper.

You should have gotten Witcher 2. That game is legit. Dishonored is awesome, too, though.
