Never had much success there. For that matter most of sister lake has been a bad spot for me.

Its spotty, but when you find them its usually on. I hit it this time of year to try and catch them moving inshore thru there. Bay Junop is usually good also. But Sister Lake? , That place is money.

Ive really only fished the south shore(hardly any luck and the water was almost always clean. I kill them near St. martins houseboat in theose little cuts. I have heard people say they kill em near the W&F camp but never caught a fish there. I also NEVER fish the birds.

Fishing has to be REALLY slow for me to fish birds. That's for Big Lake where they have 1/10th the fish we have..

I hate fishing them too, but every once in a while you get on a school and it's full of 2# fish. I fish the Moncluese Bay area mostly when I fish Sister, that south shore water gets real thin in places.

You going down this weekend? I could use you to help me carry a 300 lb generator and install a satellite dish. I'll show you where to fish.

I'm going to stay grounded on this idea for now. But I am praying that the weather gods smile upon me tomorrow. Can't wait to get out of this office in about 3 hours

Gonna Change plans based on a report from yesterday. Pelto is dirty. Will probably run to pelican pass and sister lake with this stiffer North wind blowing.

Start in sister, north side should have clean water. If Pelto is dirty, pelican probably is too.
