A few other honorable mentions would be F.E.A.R., the earlier Splinter Cells, the Hitman series,

F.E.A.R. 1 was the shite, but they kinda walked away from the subtle horror elements that made the game great in FEAR 2. I didnt even bother with FEAR 3. Last splinter cell was way too short. You could beat it in 2 hours once you got used to it. Sux that re series is dying. Having an actual goal to escape instead of shooting every zombie you see made the game for me, counting every bullet, hoarding every spray or herb. Starting to miss the days when you needed more than a quick trigger finger to beat a game.

Sleeping dogs isnt bad if you like an open world gta type game with an emphasis on combat (sorta like batman games) but not quite as awesome.

Voice Acting and story are pretty good as well. It is def worth a rental.

I did not know that.

As for RE6, from the little I played, it is incredibly disappointing. I went in negatively, so take that for what it is.

- Lighting is TERRIBLE. Had to turn the brightness WAY up just to be able to see.

- Gameplay is awful, and I'm referencing Leon's story. It is just all-around bad. Even his gameplay barely resembles original RE games. I felt that I was either buttonmashing or moving the joystick crazy-like the entire time. Annoying.

- Ammo is scarce to the point that Infinite Ammo mode seems like a good idea. Compound that with how many shots it takes to take out even a regular zombie, and I just see poor game design.

I could see myself playing it just for the story, but I doubt I will. I feel that it isn't even worth the free rental.

From what I read, you have to gain enough of those experience points to "purchase" infinite ammo. Choosing it at the beginning just means that once you purchase it, you can actually use it. So you still have to get through a ton of the game to get the infinite ammo option.

(I haven't played the full game yet, that's just what I read on GameFAQs.)
