USCe will certainly stack the box against the run and Clowney will be pumped up.

We now know that there is no secert playbook and the offense is the hand that we are dealt.

Spurrier will want some revenge for our trick play a few years ago and I am sure that he has one ready for us.

Spurrier also knows that this is a huge statement game for the cocks and his guns will be blazing.

So with what we know now about our offense, How do we combat that defense and win the game.

Thoughts ?

Pray they don't play 8+ in the box.

Protect the QB and catch the ball. Sounds easier than done.

- throw some quick hitters on early downs to mix things up and get manageable 3rd downs. I'm talking stuff to the TEs, flares/ angles to the RBs, and of course... the bubble screen!

- remember that it's ok to run outta the shotgun

- give Hilliard the bulk of the carries

- give Shep a few early carries so that you can decoy off it later

- get a Clowney voodoo doll

- get Brandon Winey some more eligibility

- pray

Defense & Special teams is our only hope in this game. If the offense can just sustain a few drives to give our Defense a breather, we keep it close and win with field goals. Just 2 or 3 first downs per possession & no turnovers. Forget asking for TD's at this point.

I agree with quick first down passes and using Hillard the most supplemented by Hill.

I am afraid that Ware is too slow and not enough bulk for this game and defense.

As the current LSU head coach said after the UF spanking was done, "I don't know."

Not that it matters but I think he was referring to a question about all the dropped passes.

Let the ranters call the offensive plays. They appear to know FAR more than everyone else.

Receivers need to catch the ball.

Put Mett in the shotgun. Start with short passes to build confidence. Let the speed of USCe DE work against them by throwing the ball to RB and TE where the DE rush from. That will help to slow them down.

Draw plays and screens can be effective too. Let the d-line rush in and make their LBs do the work.

Do NOT let the time of possession by -14 minutes again. It was insane that our defense played an extra quarter and equally insane Florida only scored 14 points. Stop the 3 and outs at all costs.

One simple change: mix up personnel packages. Don't show your hand everytime.

After watching the UGA/USC game Saturday night it seems we are facing the best offense and defense we have seen this season. Unless our offense can have some long drives to give our defense a rest it will be a long night.

Hope I am wrong but from what I have watched so far this year it doesn't look good. Offense has got to find something that works for positive yards / drives and for once help the defense out.

What are the odds that the game plan looks one iota different next Saturday than it did last Saturday.

Nothing, our coaches have no clue how to make this offense work.

kill hills red shirt and let him loose on them... the the berger some short passes and such to get his confidence up and be a little creative on offense.
