Flipping through the channels and this group was on Austin City Limits. I'm thinking, what a sorry excuse for music. Honestly, if a few folks would get together with a few pots and pans, a couple of out of tune guitars and not one of them able to sing a lick, they would do as good, if not better than this big joke on ACL.

How on earth can such sucky music get an audience?

Oh, the group was called "Radiohead".

I was flipping channels and ran into this too. I could only take about 3 or 4 minutes of it. I was just WTF. I agree with you 100%. What I saw was just crap. I think freeform music is for musicians that can't write a song.

A little crude but I have some agreement with you. Thom sounds like the guy stuck up in the castle in the movie "The Holy Grail" who just wanted to sing, and finally found a band. Never got the popularity of the band, but to each his own.

It's a band I've tried to get and I just can't. I guess I can see the appeal maybe. But outside a few tunes here and there I just cannot listen them.

Same here, and I have tried. I know people who think they are the greatest band ever, but I find their stuff boring, and hard to listen to. Excellent musicians but just not my type of music, and his voice is grating.

Yorke's falsetto may not be for everyone but the guy can actually sing. I like radiohead alot and short of some of the heavy synth stuff they've churned out some masterpieces IMO

Never seen them live tho. So maybe they're not great on stage,Idk
