Alabama, OU, Univ of Tenn, Baylor etc... all have indoor hitting facilities.
LSU has one of the best fields in the country and now with the addition of the hitting facility they will be right at the top of the list!!!
If you want the top recruits you need to keep up!!!!!!

Arkansas has one also that retracts and allows them to take fielding practice as well and they're not exactly knocking on the Top 25 door or appearing in postseason play.
By contrast the majority of Pac 12 schools have nice fields without a lot the bells and whistles. Arizona State has one of the more complete facilities while Arizona, UCLA, Stanford, Cal, Oregon don't have what the upper echelon SEC programs have and seem to fare quite well.

Well, they have a lot more polished talent to choose from.
As for that picture, yes the cages have a roof. But the like I said, between those doorways and the windows on the opposite side of the cages it is considered an outdoor facility. I didn't make the rule.
Arkansas has beautiful facilities.....except for that pig on everything

Yeah I wasn't questioning you. And I don't begrudge the softball team getting a new indoor batting facility...far from it.
I guess I just wondered why they didn't put french doors on the cage they have. Not as either or, but in addition to the new facility.
