I made a huge pot, yesterday. We have too much left over. How long would this last in the freezer? Has anybody tried freezing items like this (soups, stews, things that have thick sauces)?

Well, I was going to freeze it in ziplock bags; we are running short on tupperware.

I ALWAYS make a double batch so I can freeze 1/2. I double bag them in ziploc freezer bags. They'll keep for a good 9 months to a year :-)

When you reheat, get ready to add a little more stock and reseason...those dumplings continue to suck up the liquid.
