A new LSU tailgating book coming out next fall is looking tailgating stories and tailgating recipes. Things that are of particular interest to LSU fans will obviously be given priority, like alligator recipes and couchon-de-lait techniques. Basically, outstanding recipes for Tiger fans only. You can go to [link=(www.DownSetGeaux.com)]DownSetGeaux[/link] to check out the project or email your recipe to tigertailgating@gmail.com. Tell us what you cook up at your tailgate. You will be given full credit for the recipe in the book, which is due out next fall.

It's not that hard. Just remove the tiger droppings

yeah, we want recipes that can specifically be done at a tailgate. We also want to give full credit to the chefs, not just their tigerdroppings screen names. if y'all have anything you think would be good in the book, send it to tigertailgating@gmail.com or go to the site DownSetGeaux.

Thanks!

Are you selling this book or is this a charity venture of some sort?

Will you be paying these folks for their recipe or just a by line?

Good question.

It will just be a byline. This is not primarily a cookbook, the recipes are just lagniappe to the hundreds of tailgating stories and pictures the book will have in it. It sounds like you're sitting on some pretty delicious recipes, though, to ask that question. If you want pass one of them along that would be good at tailgate, please get in touch with us at either DownSetGeaux or direct at tigertailgating@gmail.com. If not, I understand.

Thanks for your interest and

Thanks to those of you who have sent some recipes in for the LSU tailgating book! So far we've got fried soft shell shrimp, alligator sauce piquante, boudin eggrolls, and some others.

If you have any other great recipes (this could include drink recipes and sauce recipes) that could be done at a tailgate and may be of particular interest to LSU fans, we'll take 'em! The website is DownSetGeaux and our remail address is tigertailgating@gmail.com.

You of course will get credit for the recipe in the book, which will hopefully be out next fall before the 2010 season.
