OU would likely have 0 playoff appearances had they been in the SEC since the playoffs inception.

Please don't make me defend Bama. But you do realize they just had the #1 recruiting class, right?
Getting a dodge charger or other cars for the players over the years. That has been one way to get something for the recruits. Did you see that Nick Saban has been against NIL and wanted to follow NFL example. Then I would say why not have a draft also to follow NFL example too!
