We will be going to the WTC museum.
There is a location down there. Is this place that good?

Haven’t been to that location, but we really like the one by us in the UWS. Don’t think you can go wrong with it.
If you’re going to WTC and want Italian though, I would suggest eating nextdoor in Eataly. It’s an Italian market with some belly up places to eat and a couple restaurants—Firenze and La Pizza & La Pasta. You can get a reservation and try calling early to see if you can get a seat by the window looking out at the WTC. It’s good food, a great view, and cool little market—though the location in Flatiron has more character.
If you want something different. The Tin Building just opened by the Seaport—10 minute walk from WTC. It’s all from chef Jean-Georges and isn’t cheap, but there are a bunch of different options and the food I’ve tried is good.
There are a couple other restaurants in the Seaport area that are good too. Carne Mare, Momofuku Ssam, Keste, Osteria Del Porto. I work downtown and there are plenty good places to eat, just matters what you’re looking for.
For the previous steakhouse discussion: It requires really advanced reservations, but if you want a different steakhouse experience, definitely check out Cote. Finally tried it recently and it’s worth a try.

Haven't been there, but the last time we went to the city was for the express purpose of having a Korean BBQ lunch. We went to Baekjeong in Koreatown on 32nd Street. Highly recommended.
