Apparently the Michigan people on 247 think he's LSU's.

He still has to visit Miami.

But it's starting to look like he's another high school recruit we might get.

I don't know if getting him would move Fitz West back to offense or what, but if nothing else it's more bodies on the line of scrimmage.

Howard's tape is good, by the way.

I guess I'm in the minority but I hope West gets back on the o line. I think he could really be a quality OC a la Cushenberry

I think even the coaches likely believe he's better suited for the OL. Problem is the same as Turner and Dellinger it seems. Not good enough. The latter 2 shouldn't feel good about their futures here unless drastic improvement happens. Both are being publicly recruited over.

Dellinger is good enough.

He was injured and missed half the season.

Sounds like it according to Billy and Shea. Started getting big offers kinda later in the process so he held off on signing early

What are you talking about? The situations between Turner and Delly aren’t even close. The only thing that’s held Delly back is injuries. He’s really a Guard and just an emergency Center at this point since Martinez has shown he can snap the ball consistently and handle starting and playing major minutes. If he’s healthy, then he’s either starting or 1st off the bench at either Guard spot.

West played well enough in the bowl game to show he has promise as a DL. We are likely going to lose a ton of production from the DL after this coming season, so I still think West will be there for depth in 23 and ready to slide in and compete for more time in 24.

Howard has good short area quickness for a guy his size.

Film deserves a higher ranking.

D Line is Fitz's natural position. He is much quicker and faster than his size would have you believe. But he will do whatever the coaches ask of him and probably do it well. He'll end up "good enough", as another put it, so long as he is given time and proper coaching. He is a very coachable young man.

I trust Kelly and his staff to put him in the best position to help the team and the player. Fitz has very quick hands which can be used on either the offensive or defensive line with the proper coaching to develop.
