As described, my 2020 M1 macbook air internet is not working. On any website, I can go to google and search (and that will work), but any link I click I get the following error (or if I try to go webpage directly):

“DNS ADDRESS COULD NOT BE FOUND” And then an “no internet” error.

This is specifically on chrome. I can’t get any webpage to work on safari.

My work computer is connected to the same wifi and vpn and working fine (windows dell latitude). What the heck is going on and how do I fix it??

Is your DNS hard coded?

Go to the wifi setting and turn off ip masking.

That doesn't work, open terminal and type nslookup www.tigerdroppings.com
