I’ve been up in a lock on in St. Tammany since 5:30. It’s about 65 degrees, humid, and damp. Light east wind.

I’ve put in some hours this week but deer movement is way down for me. I generally see deer 90% if the time, but I’ve only seen deer on foot one hunt out of my last 4 if this morning continues like it’s going. I’m hopeful that it’s just the weird weather we’ve been having. Getting a bit frustrated though.

Been seeing multiple deer per sit…Holding out for some target culls on daylight pics, before firing first shot.
10 til dark today…the hunting clubs will be exiting the woods about 10. Ready to drop a couple.

Tensas, 35 whelan just because, watching a corner pocket of a turn row we planted with everything under the sun. It's a good evening hotspot so hoping this wind dies down.
