CFP Rankings

9So I know that the rankings are suppose to be released tonight, but last week before they were officially announced I had googled LSU Football and it showed they were ranked 6th and when the rankings came out they were 6th.
Fast forward to today and if you google USC Football it shows them to be ranked 5th and CBS is reporting them as ranked 5th. Just curious if this is something that has always happened or if they just early reporting...
