Sure Miles loss a game or two to both Tenn and Fla, but he also had some miraculous wins. Miles never looked like the pressure was too much for him. The fake field goal that bounced on the ground behind the holder and then perfectly into LSU’s hands for a first. Miles win against a heavily favored Tenn at Tenn, when he was in perfect Miles form, grinning like a cat that stole the canary? while saying what a huge task LSU has.

Well this is a Kelly coached LSU team and it faces a huge task Saturday. How will Kelly handle it? I’ve already predicted a very close game. Stay focused on the field and the sidelines, in a nail biter, facial expressions are key to what each side is thinking. Post them on TD!

Kelly has been around, if I were a Tiger Dropping, I wouldn't worry about his competency. His troops? 'Nother story. :)

That 2006 win against Tennessee was one of his best.

Huge win for LSU and set the tone for what was to come in 2007.

I for one did not enjoy Jamarcus’ comeback as much… bc his turnovers got us in a position to have to come back in the first place

Some good points. Saban at Bama and Meyer at Florida sure used to get the shimmies when they went up against Miles at LSU, especially Saban in the beginning.

Those were some great battles. Fla/LSU when Ms Meyer was there was some outstanding football. Then it became LSU/Bama playing for the probable championship for a while and again some of the best football thats ever been played at this level.
Looking forward to CBK bringing those feelings back!
