When you prepare completely wrong, which Kelly admitted, and still hold the opponent to 17 points.

McElroy pointed it out during the game. We were concentrating on stopping the run and even when they passed we were concentrating on the qb running lol

Sometimes you just guess completely wrong and have to scrap your pregame plan at halftime.

Remind me, did they score in the second half?

This defense is for real. Jay ward, Perkins, brooks, ojulari,Gaye , Roy and wingo could all be 1 or 2nd round picks one day

I can see this one being a tough one to game plan. Only one game of film, and the Auburn coaching staff trying to figure out what their new starter does best.

The D showed up big but let’s not crow too hard. They were 2nd and goal and Koy pissed down his leg. Great play by Perk but still

A lot of Saturday was indicative of this team playing its first road game. Just a lot of hesitancy and poor decision making on both ends. For example, Garner (who is a dog) coming up in run support before Ashford crosses the line of scrimmage on 3rd and 25. You get better from winning these types of games.

Not only did they not score in the second half, but they hadn't scored since 10 mins remaining in the second quarter. LSU held Auburn scoreless for 40 mins after the blown coverages in the first quarter.

This defense has something that has been missing for a while: heart. You can tell they’ve bought into what House is teaching and are committed to the plan. They’re playing with heart/emotion/intensity and the athletic ability is doing the rest along with scheme.

Ojulari is a badass and quickly becoming one of my favorite Tigers ever. He just wants it more than the opponent lined up across from him.

Oh I know lol. At least with Tennessee, we will know exactly what to expect, minus whatever they added in their bye week.

We’re gonna need the defense to play the game of their lives Saturday. I really think they’re capable of it though
