Is there a website that will translate different different types of GPS coordinates?

I say translate and that’s prob not best word. But I think there is 2-3 different ways to put in GPS coordinates for same spot. And if I get coordinates in one form but want to put it in Navioncs app and the number of digits doesn’t match up, is there a way to do that?

You can do that in your GPS set up. I tried to teach that to co workers, because most people would report an incident, accident, or pimping on a baiter, etc. and give the coordinates in decimal deg.
I always worked in Deg/Min/Sec, from my old Topo map days in the early 80's. So , with the employment i was in , in the 1990's, i had to know how to switch them fast, for rescue purposes.
You recognize what format the informant is giving you, switch your unit to that format, then save a WP . After saved, simply switch back to Deg/Min/Sec.
I always worked in Deg/Min/Sec, from my old Topo map days in the early 80's. So , with the employment i was in , in the 1990's, i had to know how to switch them fast, for rescue purposes.

You can just google "lat long converter" and one will come up for free. You can either put in decimal degrees, or degrees, minutes, and seconds, and it will convert it for you.

What form are you getting it in?
The lat and long in degrees, minutes seconds makes the most sense. Think of lat and long being a clock face at each meridian. Using latitude as an example, each degree of latitude is 60 nautical miles north of the equator, each minute is one nautical mile and each second is 1/60 of a nautical mile (~100 ft). Just like with a clock, a degree is 60 minutes and a minute is 60 seconds.
If you are around New Orleans and 30 degrees of latitude, you are at around 1800 miles from the equator. Move up to Vicksburg, and you are at 32.2 degrees of latitude. That .2 is 2/10 of a degree, which is (2/10 x 60 minutes) 32 degrees 12 minutes.

When I go to Hilton’s offshore and click on the genesis floater it gives me 27 degrees 46.83 N, 90 degrees 29.86 W
When I try to input that as a marked spot on Navionics app For the seconds portion it makes me input three digits. So do I just put it as .083 seconds for north portion and .086 seconds for west portion, or .830 and .860?

Why in tarnation would you put the zero in front??
If it gives it to you in decimal i.e. .83 and you just want three places put in .830. If you need it in Deg/min/sec multiply the decimal by 6. I.e. .83 x 6 = 49.8 (round up to 50.)
Hence your coordinates should either be 27 46' 830" N 90 29' 860"

27 46' 50' N 90 29' 52" W

The 46.83 North is 46 minutes and .83 minutes (60 seconds x .83 = 49.8 seconds), so it’s 27 degrees 46 min. 49.8 seconds.
Regardless, if you get within 1 min of latitude, you should see it!
