It's sad that a person will sign with a college because he thinks they will get him to the league instead of signing for the reason that they can set me up to be successful in life after football if I don't get to the called league.

Would you rather sign players who aren't concerned about making it to the NFL? Seems like a losing strategy.

A lot of people just go to college because they're told to in HS, or they think a degree will get them a better job. I don't see how that's any different.
