This should be mandatory training material for all prep players on how not to run the bases.

Yes, because he's Reinsdorf's buddy and he's loyal to a fault. And Jerry forced the Tony hire after saying he wouldn't interfere with Rick Hahn's decision.

Jerry's loyalty is the only reason why McEwing and Boston have been kept around as base coaches for the last decade under three different managers.

This organization is so frustratingly stupid.
