This bunch of idiots in the Biden Administration are beyond stupid.
They expect Americans who can’t afford $5 gas to pump into an $7,000 beater to go out and spend 60-70k on some electric piece of shite with a 300 mile range.
Tesla EVs are trash and their service is horrible. They show up to your house in a GASOLINE POWERED van to fix your car because they have no repair facilities or dealers.
There are government studies that show that if just the US Postal Service converted to EVs the grid would be overwhelmed as the power needed for all these vehicles is not available. Hundreds of Power plants would be needed to accommodate this fiasco and the plants would be powered by Natural Gas.
All this and the vast majority of the American Public does not know that the USA has the largest Crude Oil Reserves in the World. Saudi Arabia has a proven Reserve of 268 Billion Barrels. The USA has the largest Oil Shale Reserves on the planet at 2.1 Trillion Barrels of recoverable crude in the Oil Shale Fields in the Western US. This over a 400 year supply of Oil here on American soil.
