Although I will know note he is staying off of one knee ever since he fricked it up. So maybe lesson learned.

all four runs are on him. If he blocks that strikeout pitch and throws the batter out at first like any SEC catcher should do, OM doesn't score in that inning.

Well he started the night with watching all 3 strikes for the backwards K. So at least thus far his bat is not fire.

Also CJJ had a long discussion with McManus after that poor performance . I haven’t seen CJJ have long discussions with any players after defensive inning. I’m pretty sure he wasn’t happy with McManus

An SEC caliber catcher has to block that pitch. He drops half the regular pitches as well, never seeming to make a clean catch on anything down low.
