Italy (rome. Maybe Florence & Venice)
3 . London (possibly train to Paris for 2 days ).

when I was in Venice a couple years ago took $64 plane ticket from Venice to Athens, its a 2 hour flight. Greece is really cheap compared to those Italian cites you listed.

If do London, flying back out of Dublin is cool since you go through Customs before you board. London to Dublin is a cheap 75 minute flight.

Thanks for the replies. I think I’m gonna grab a flight tonight while the price is right.

Just pay attention to your connections and if you're willing to deal with the covid nonsense. If you see some other thread on the first page, people are having to get boosters to connect in some countries.

I personally wouldn't deal with that.

London is wonderful.

Some links to London sites worth consideration-

Churchill War Rooms, IWM (Whitehall)

Tower of London

The British Museum

The Tate Modern Museum

The Imperial War Museum London

St Paul’s Cathedral

Westminster Abbey

Westminster Abbey Chapter House

Have a great time. If you do have to drive in London, it should come easily to you because you trained on the Elick turn circle.

Seconding St Paul's--the choral services (evensong) are a wonderful way to sit for a short while in a historic building and enjoy the cathedral choir. It's usually 5 in the evening, and alternates between a prayer service or a sung service, so check the calendar before you go: https://www.stpauls.co.uk/worship-with-us

And keep an eye out for these little green kiosks, which are refreshment stands for cabbies: LINK

Instead of a side trip to Paris, I recommend Windsor Castle.

Oxford was also very cool.

Some good recommendations on here

Check out Notting Hill when they have the Saturday flea markets

Camden Town, Shoreditch, Kings Road-Chelsea are great neighborhoods

Victoria and Albert Museum is a must see.....probably the best museum I have ever done

take a rib boat ride up the Thames....puts in around Westminster and road it up past Greenwich all the way to the sea locks. Great to see the city from the river

My husband and I just returned last night from London and Paris. 3 nights in London and 4 in Paris. I wish we could’ve spent a week in each! In London we really enjoyed afternoon tea at Kensington Palace, walking around Notting Hill for their Saturday farmer’s market, the Churchill War Rooms, and a play in the West End Theater District. The subway systems in each city were easy enough (though we preferred the busses bc you can see more) but we still averaged 8.5 miles of walking per day. Plan for about 30 minutes of travel time between each attraction. Book all of your tickets a few weeks in advance and print them out or screenshot them. It was a hassle getting into the Louvre bc their website was down when we arrived and I couldn’t access our tickets!

Sounds like our London trips. We have tea at Fortnum and Mason. Will try Kensington Palace.

Awesome. Sounds very similar to what we’re doing. Gonna do 4 nights in each and New Year’s Eve in London. Never been anywhere outside the us other than the Caribbean so I’ll really look forward to this. Thanks for the feedback.
