Who do you folks see being higher on the list of all-time great coaches when they have both hung up the whistle?

Both are pretty young and could coach another 20+ years. Neither is likely to leave their current job except for maybe Dabo to Bama.

Dabo is currently more established with a longer career, two national titles, a bunch of ACC titles, and a bunch of 10+ win seasons. Kirby has a national title, an SEC title, and is 1-0 vs. Dabo.

Kirby currently has more momentum at UGA and probably will benefit more from Saban’s eventual retirement.

Dabo for me. Only coach who has been able to go toe to toe with the GOAT. Also coaches in a much easier league so he’s likely to be in the playoff more often.

One coach has multiple national championships. It’s hard enough getting the first one. Even when Saban retires, Kirby will still be in the SEC.

Kirby hasn’t gone toe to toe with Saban? 2017 national championship, 2018 SEC championship, 2021 national championship isn’t going toe to toe?

Something tells me Dabo will have to adjust his current mentality with respect to transfers, NIL, etc. to thrive moving forward

Don’t think that will be an issue for Kirby

Agree with this. Dabo seems old fashioned and doesn't appear to care for the new CFB landscape. He may just say he has enough money already and decide to retire early.

Both are great coaches. I think they both have another championship in the. Although winning championships are hard if your name isn't Nick Saban, so that's not a guarantee.

But am I the only one who didn't realize Clemson still finished 10-3 this season. I knew they had an off-season, and struggled alot this season with their QB situation. I figured they won like 7-8 games this year. It must be nice to have an off year and still win 10 games.

I agree playing an acc schedule would be nice.

Totally agree. He’s not only going to have to be more tolerant of such things but be able to use them as selling points.

Hey, let me enjoy it.

I don't think I'm that far out of line in saying that. This ain't a one-and-done.
