I know a bunch of people who watch movies or TV based on this way of thinking. Won’t watch a second of Marvel, but will check out a Kurt Warner biopic

Usually people who want a didactic, “based on a true story,” rags-to-riches tale. People who want to believe that every thing will have a happy ending.

They're probably trying to nerd him up so SciFi fans will go back and finish the second half of Don't Look Up. ETA: ok, so that one on the OT is from a parody account, probably making fun of this stupid story.
