Not really surprised. I thought he would come into his own this year and he had an opening to make a move with all of the injuries. If it didn’t happen, then it’s likely not going to for him here. Best of luck to him elsewhere.

Russell Gage would like a word with you.

Hey, Russell, I'm listening. How's it going??
I hope Lee has the kind of NFL success that Gage has, but it's highly unlikely. Unfortunately, Lee's not been able to even establish himself as a receiver, having been tried at multiple positions. While Gage didn't have many catches until his senior year, at least he hadn't been passed by underclassmen like Lee has. Four freshmen WR's had more pass receptions this year than Lee. Gage's junior season he had some pretty good junior/senior WR's ahead of him like Travin Dural, DJ Chark and Malachi Dupre. While it's great that Gage has had such a productive career, it's also amazing as a 6th round pick. You've gotta admit that's more the exception rather than the rule. If Lee himself thought he was about to have a breakout college season he probably wouldn't be transferring.

Dont blame Lee. He put in his time...gotta try to put his name on some draft boards if he can

You can't be serious with this. This is exactly what is wrong with these kids. He needs to worry about getting a education and let the rest take care of itself.

Hate it... I think a more imaginitive and experienced staff, which I think we have now as compared to the previous regime, could have found a good role for someone who is fairly versatile and is a very good all around athlete.

I picture CBK doing his best Frank Costello imitation looking at Devonta and saying "what can I use you fuh".

Given enough time I'm pretty sure the would've found his place. It might not be WR like he wants, but something.

So you boom for the guys that transfer in but label the guys that transfer out as quitters? Typical

You really didn’t see the sarcasm? I even used “loud noises.” Figured that’d be a dead giveaway, but whatever.

Deion Smith is the only one in that group that I feel could become an elite college player if he has the right work ethic, etc.

IF he would just embrace an OLB role, I think he'd be awesome.

I said that earlier. He would be impossible to block
