Only Nick Saban has the same philosophy speak as Kim Mulky about playing a game at a high level. She is extremely impressive.

The difference is she ACTUALLY played the game at a high level. Was an assistant at the high level and a HC at a high level AND has never failed at anything. She won at EVERYTHING. Gold Medals to NCs. If people don’t think she could walk into the WNBA and win, they are fooling themselves.

Alpha coach, no doubt. Glad she's on our side. Needs to teach those kids not to slouch though, especially after a big win. Shoulders back, chest out, like she does.

Being tossed in a big conference game where you are already up against the wall with the refs and you want the head coach to be tossed? We lose that game if he does. He needed to keep the boat afloat that night which he did. Sometimes a coach needs to fire up the team while others he needs to be the calming force.

Cherry's comments proved what a waste Fargis was. Her attitude and work ethic changed immediately with Mulkey. Mulkey won't deal with lazy arse players.

Cherry is their best defender and looks like a potential WNBA guard. I love her game.

Two coaches at very different points in their lives Don't compare--just enjoy!

Everything you typed was spot on and frankly near impossible to overstate.

-Four State Championships at Hammond High while graduating valedictorian with a perfect 4.0 gpa...I would have called it a life right there.

-Two National Championships at La Tech,...should have been 3, but all props to Cheryl Miller.

-Wins Gold Medal at '84 Olympics.

-Goes back to La Tech as an assistant coach and wins another National Championship

-Wins three NCs as Head Coach at Baylor

-Produces a son that becomes an All-American Baseball player for LSU

-Comes to LSU to resurrect a program with a vicious quickness rarely seen in sports.

Incredible! Just an incredible woman

absolutely. That post game interview told me everything. Inspect what you expect. These women are flat out reflecting the expectations of their coach on herself.

She's trying to show The General how it's done. That was the only disappointing thing for me from Wednesday's win over Florida. Wade absolutely needed to get himself tossed that night.

I think the exact opposite is true. 2 years ago Wade would’ve been ran as soon as Tari fouled out. I think he’s maturing as a coach, and trusts his players to play themselves out of a funk or stop the other teams run without him giving away points
