This has to be one of the most successful loans I can think of.

Courtois winning La Liga and making it to the UCL finals with Atletico may be one of the few that edges it for me.
ETA: Have I been pronouncing Gallagher wrong? Announcer is saying it with silent "g".

Its been all season long too. Literally since his first premier league game with Palace (which was actually the 2nd game of the season since he didnt play against Chelsea in game 1), he has looked liked the best player on the field for Palace. There wasnt much of an adjustment period needed.

Gallagher is ineligible to be called up this month. Forget what the threshold was but, if he played a certain % of palaces minutes, chelsea couldnt bring him up until summer.
That's a good question though. If they could, would chelsea bring him back? I don't think they would. Different style of midfield play they likely wouldn't want to just throw him into. Let him get his minutes this season without competition and then give him a full summer with Chelsea to compete and adapt to their game I think makes more sense. Imo
