Haha it was an accident my sister has special needs and doesn’t know any better. She placed a stack of three large books on it and broke the stylus, arm, and the motor for the platter, stinks but wasn’t a crazy expensive turntable

How about an HW-40? That's my "end game" aspirational table.

Much more compact than your previous full-room setup.

gents- longtime envious. lover and stalker of this thread where is the best place to buy vinyl's.
I recently inherited my brothers collection and after combing through them noticed it has been picked through and would like to replace those.
mostly 50s to the 80s.
thank you in and advance and Marco, I hope all is well with you.

lets say i'm looking at physical graffiti what would i expect to pay.
what would be the range for this album?
Are these new reproductions you see around any different from the older ones and yes how so.
thank you!

Man, I had written up a decent response to your questions last night, and my phone glitched on me, and I lost the response.
it looks like the last time that album was officially reissued was in 2015 for the 40th anniversary. Rhino website for about $40. you can also purchase through other online retailers like Walmart & Amazon.
Here’s a link to the 2015 reissue info on Discogs. . Looks like it was pressed at Pallas, which is one of the better pressing plants. I’d imagine the remaster was done from digital files.
But yeah, there can be massive differences between pressings, remasters, sources used, sometimes subtle, sometimes not. I’ve never been one that searches out specific original pressings from albums that are that old, because the few times I have I’ve usually been disappointed. Rather I try to find reissues from the “audiophile” reissue labels that typically use some of the best mastering engineers, original master tapes and press at the best plants.
However with the vinyl resurgence of the past few years copies from those houses have skyrocketed because most are no longer in print. For Physical Graffiti specifically, it looks like the last, and only, audiophile reissue was done by Classic Records in 2000, and then again in 2005. Discogs shows the median price sold as over $400, and currently the cheapest listing is $800.
Classic Records also released this holy grail Zeppelin box set back in 2006, and it can be yours for a mere $10k. Looks like someone purchased one for $25k at some point as well.
Marco, did you have this box set, and did it survive?!?!

I have the 2015 reissue that was pressed at Optimal. My copy sounds pretty damn good, even though the Discogs reviews aren’t very good.
