How to kill Zoysia in Ornamental Mondo Grass?

0Have Zoysia Palisades lawn - love it. But, it's creeping into my ornamental Mondo Grass trim around my pool patio. Is there anything that will kill the Zoysia but not the Mondo?

I think you should let me get after it with my plugging tool. I'll even dispose of the zoysia plugs for you.

on 1/13/22 at 8:11 am to bamaswallowsNot speaking from personal experience b/c I don’t have Zoysia but I’ve read on a professional lawn forum that sethoxydim (Vantage, Fertilome Over the Top II) will kill Zoysia without killing Mondo grass. May take 2 or 3 applications a month apart. It needs to be mixed with crop oil as per label directions for maximum effectiveness. I use it to kill bermudagrass in centipede and landscape beds with ornamentals, but again, no experience with zoysia.
