Will the Biden White House shift to the center in order to save 2024?

The 1994 midterms signaled to the Clinton White House that they needed to play ball with Congressional Republicans and it actually resulted in a more centrist platform for Clinton's second term.
The 2021 VA gubernatorial election isn't even a midterm election, so the Biden White House has even more lead time to run to the center to get the economy rolling again.
Does Manchin gain in prestige in the Senate? Will the Democratic Party at-large allow him to set party policy in the Senate to slow down spending and get inflation under control?

Hahaha, no.
They will follow Obama’s 2009 example and go hard left to cement what they can before they lose.

His handlers won't allow

Democrats rallied around Biden because he cannot provide any sense of leadership. His job is to be useless. And the far-left will not move to center.
They are rudderless.
They are rudderless.

No, this is a kamikaze presidency. They will double, triple, and quadruple down, in order to inflict as much pain and chaos as they possibly can while they have the power.

No. I say the "shoot the moon". All or nothing. They are beyond the point of return now. They are between a rock and a crazy place.

Not sure if the likes of the squad, Bernie and is bro's and the activist progressive will allow him. When you are an aggressive activist like they all are, there is no real tact...

The Senate might be willing to play ball by that gameplan but the House is filled with gerrymandered radicals who will hold hostage, terrorize and implode any sense of rationalism to get their way.
Biden could pass a pragmatic, fiscally responsible standalone infrastructure bill this week. He could pass a rational economic stimulus plan. He could pass a prescription drug bill. But the far left (who he frequently joins) will not allow compromise or anything less than getting their $3.5 TRILLION to spout off a bunch of socialist nonsense.

Joe can't even find his way out of the Rose Garden. What makes you think he can find his way to the Center? His administration is going to become more unhinged and more "progressive." Biden's Traveling Circus not being progressive enough is what cost them yesterday according to some Twitter bots.

No. They will push even harder now to get Build Back Better aka The Great Reset through.

The interesting thing is that in most things besides their insane social crusades, they're basically Bush republicans. The line right now may still read Republican vs Democrat, but in reality it's globalist vs. nationalist. The left already has the backing of global corporate monopoly, all they'd have to do is shift back center on social issues.
The problem is that they've invested so much in dividing, tribalism and identity politics that the resulting apathy from special interests may be more than they can afford to lose.

No, Xiden's Cabinet and White House are filled with true believers, aka Commies, who are bound and determined to go full bore no matter the cost.

Hell, if the Senate can provide gridlock to the House's agenda, it would at least slow down the bleeding.
Sacrifice the House in the 2022 midterms, and the Senate and White House move to a pragmatic spending plan with House GOP members. It might work.
