I’m only 27 fellas. Can some of you older fans give some advice on how to deal with our beloved program being a dumpster fire? I grew up watching the 2000-Now years and this drop is just mind boggling.

It’s what happens when you let a retard run your football program. Hopefully the days don’t get this dark again for a long time.

I remember tiger rag being a big part of that time for me. Always checked the mailbox for it. Really talked baseball year round during those days. The fact that baseball dynasty took place during these dark days really saved me as an lsu kid in the Mississippi delta.

It's happened before and it'll happen again.. The positive side is you should be able to scoop up some good season tickets on the cheap.

When I was your age the Tigers sucked, so I enjoyed the experience of driving over to campus, parking relatively close, buying a lower-bowl between-the-twenties seat for about $5 five minutes before kickoff, waltz in with a flask, and having a good time. Expansion, parking monetization and the internet have made that impossible, so basically you're screwed.

Be thankful you don’t remember the early and late 90s

We had losing seasons for my four years at LSU...the right coach will turn this around quickly.

truthfully, when we didn't have so many expecations, it was pretty damn fun.

Luckily LSU has always attracted talent, so the quicker the administration makes a move and goes out and gets a good coach it could turn around in a shorter time.

Blip on the radar. Program will be fine. Good news is we’re not afraid to spend now.
The ‘90s were as rough as they were because of bad and cheap hires and a lack of investment in the facilities. Mike Archer was an assistant who was elevated to head coach, Curley Hallman was a head coach from Southern Miss and Gerry DiNardo was Vanderbilt’s head coach and we still made him take care of his own buyout there.
Nick Saban came because LSU paid him $1.2 million a year, which was unheard of at that time, he got promises on facilities that were kept, we started winning and the powers that be realized how profitable football could be when you win. We’re a national brand in a state that produces a lot of skill talent for its size, and we’re the only Power 5 school in this state. It’s a really attractive job.
Scott Woodward is not Joe Dean or Joe Alleva. He will spend and he knows what he’s doing. We’ll be fine soon.

In the 90’s I didn’t expect much so I just enjoyed the chance to see LSU occasionally upset a good team and drop them in the rankings. I also grew up as a Cubs fan, so rooting for a losing team was just something that I was used to.

Bear Bryant said about LSU that "LSU is a sleeping Giant".
Then Saban proved him correct. LSU politics can screw up a wet dream
Best way I can describe what is going on.

I grew up in 90’s, no one gave us advice, we just did it. That’s my advice.

you'll live through many more. Knowing that should make it easier for you.
