I vote for the ENTIRE O line on offense for opening up nice holes for CS all night.
On D I vote for Hawkins. He was around the ball all night and had 2 int.
who ya got?

Jarrett Lee
No doubt about it. Without him... tell me the answer

yeah i think its Lee also. He changed alot of poeples mind after that horrible first half. He had a great turn around.

LEE! Without him making some plays you can bet AU would have had 8 in the box the whole 2nd half!

Agreed. JL. W/o him, we lose. Pure and simple. We just found our starter.

Lee. He grew soooo much from first half to the second. Completely different player. I was truely impressed and that, coming from a fan who was cursing and throwing shite at my T.V., is a compliment.
Hatch is still a great scrambler. I think he's got great potential.

Game balls to at least 3-4 individuals or groups:
1) Charles Scott & Brandon Lafell: Without Scott's power running up the middle, the play-action passing that made Lee so successful in the 2nd half would've never happened.....Lafell displayed great hands in making tough catches, plus great blocking; really matured from his earlier years of "dropitis".
2) Jarrett Lee: Magical turnaround due to an unfortunate injury to Hatch, who by the way, laid his body on the line for this team.
3) Hatch - See (2) above; I'm convinced that this game would've been a much more defensive, close-to-the-vest game with Hatch in at QB in the 2nd half, but still win-able if only down by 4 at the half....LSU wouldn't have necessarily needed to "open it up" as much.
4) Offensive and Defensive Lines - overall size and strength, plus depth showed itself in the 2nd half.....enabled Scott to do what he did on the OLine side, and enabled Defense to use their "nickel" more effectively, despite some busted coverages.
5) Les Miles and Staff: great play-calling, but more importantly, didn't show panic or slam his players (including Lee) on the sidelines for bad plays.....exuded confidence and maturity throughout the game.
6)Special teams: Aside from Trindon's fumbles, punting, kicking, and kick coverages were awesome all night.....much better than expected.

Coaching staff without a doubt. Coaching won this game pure & simple.

Charles Scott.
Without the huge threat of him picking up 8 ypc, the passing game doesnt open up.
