CAD, Look at the guy who bought Alan Jackson house on Moran. He’s from Cali and couldn’t be more far right if he tried.
isnt that the car parts empire guy?

we went to that estate sale at the corner of moran & old natchez and turns out it was a mom/pop catering business. they sold their 10(?) acres to a developer who bought that other 92 acres at the corner. he's going to put a mansion on it and 3 more houses for family members. the whole 'compound' concept seems to really be gaining traction.

It's amazing to me some of you can't also admit that blue areas also saw record turnout.

Because they didn’t turn out.

There were mailed in or dropped off ballots in people’s names.

I don’t call that “turning out”

Look at the brightside, maybe your grandkids will be raised in a conservative Southern California

They're the same people who believe Communism hasn't worked because the "right people" weren't in charge.

How about something middle of the road that’s not going to endure volatile changes every 5 years?

Normally I’d agree, but as a real estate agent selling in the very area CAD is talking about, I have yet to hear one Californian not use the term “fleeing” from California. Every single one I’ve dealt with has been right leaning. 2022 will be a good test to see if that comes home to roost. CAD, Look at the guy who bought Alan Jackson house on Moran. Few are fleeing California for these mediocre landlocked cities in flyover country like Texas and Tennessee is bringing liberal fiscal politics.

Sure, some of those are coming via corporate relocations, but those running away from California are clamoring for freedom and affordable living in these flyover states, not trying to run toward militant progressivism.

They did that to San Francisco for the last 25 years. How did that work out?

Already has. But he’s my best grading/concrete amigo by far and a solid dude. He’s working his arse off and living the American dream. Still happy with your outdoor project? I thought I’d at least get an invite by now

They bring crime, homelessness, rampant drug use, and dirty streets.

They will destroy your culture, and your community.

I’m not trying to dance on your grave by any means because this is awful and happening all over... BUT, I do get a kick out of people in the utopias of Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, etc realizing everything that’s happening in places like New Orleans and Baltimore is also happening in their areas. Just on a different point on the timeline

Louisiana envies the state of Tennessee and their bustling economy.

You say that like it’s not liberals running the state - JBE. Especially, every major city - BR, NOLA, S’Port.

The difference is TN has mountains and outside of Memphrica they are just now starting the exploration into Californication.

The odd thing is progressives have doubled down and think the NEW SF, Portland, Austin etc… are better than the old because of the “progress” made.

exactly. I always see Texas baws bragging about attracting yet another big company with thousands of jobs.

Personally, I don’t really want to live in a city that’s rapidly growing with OOS transplants.
