He’s turned down multiple Power 5 jobs including SEC jobs. Most people believe he wants LSU or Bama. I’d say LSU HC Job will be available before Bama. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s sooner rather than later.
If not him I hope we steal Kiffin.
All insiders are saying that administration is fed up with O from a PR stand point and that the results are not justifying the means.

That does not follow SWs MO. Scott will make Saban tell him no. He will then throw the bank at the next most successful option out there. I think he goes after Dabo. I doubt that he gets either. But I bet he makes dabo tell him no three times.

If you look across the board there are coaches that just don’t fit the SW mold. Coach O is one of those. Fran is another, but that’s a story for another time. He wants alphas. Coach O isn’t that. I don’t think Woodward even cares if the good coaches were his hires or not. He just wants what’s best for the program and right now O is not that.

If Woodward’s play is Napier I’m going to be extremely disappointed

Not going to lie I think it would be the greatest thing on the planet if some how we took Saban back. Saban always said he wishes he woulda stayed but we all know that at this point it’s almost an impossible task. It would take some real crazy stuff to happen between Bama and Saban and no one in their right mind would let that guy go from being their HC no matter what he wanted or did.

Why not.
The guy has paid his dues, proven he is an excellent coach, learned from the best, knows Louisiana, understands and appreciates the culture, and seems to be a good family man with his priorities in the right place.
Napier would be a homerun hire.

Napier is the very obvious choice IMO. There’s a reason all these power 5 teams are making a run at him. He’s got the talent to be successful wherever he is. He’ll win a national title before it’s all said and done (obviously not at UL). Personally, I prefer that title to be won at LSU. Plus, he’s incredible when it comes to media and PR. Something LSU is in desperate need of after Miles’ shite and all the title IX crap.

Lamo's has no real history of success accept under Saban.
