Some people loot and some people help out their neighbors, cook and give the linemen a place to stay, donate their time and money. Weird

Telling the truth would create a false narrative?

Why are people upset that there is minimal looting going on? This is good news.

Nah. That poster has happened upon the Mayors strategy. If you don't report the crime then the crime didn't happen! Thus the citizens are safer! Don't you get it?

What leadership New Orleans has. They care less about your property, or your lives as they do in protecting their criminal constituents from being seen for what they are, AND for them for being seen for the ineffectual bumps on a log that they are.
AND THAT AINT NO FALSE NARRATIVE…. That’s the facts jack

Those arrested for looting will be slapped on the wrist and turned loose. There’s no way that DA down there is going to prosecute those poor poor people.
If you are worried about looting, it’s a sign of white privilege

Orleans Parish Sheriff Marlin Gusman said Thursday morning that about 40 people had been arrested for looting

One answers to the mayor, and one is voted in. That should give you an idea of what is going on behind the scenes.

And plastic tubs full of basketball shoes. Strictly supporting midnight basketball leagues as a crime deterrent. Some of New Orleans’ finest citizens.
On a brighter note, Teedy was able to confirm that the looters observed have all been 100% mask compliant

The most fragile among us must be protected at all times so "oppressive" things like laws don't hurt their feelings.

New Orleans is more corrupt and hopeless than any iteration of Gotham in a Batman story.

I witnessed looting on more than 5 occasions/5 different locations with my own eyes. The city officials are terrible. The city is terrible. The people are terrible.
I just finished up 192 hours straight for the city. The things I saw, had to do, put up with, have opened my eyes to just how incredibly terrible New Orleans is. I use to defend it, maybe I’m just exhausted, I don’t know, but it’s a shite hole, full of shitty people, ran by shittier people. If I wasn’t so invested in my retirement I wouldn’t step foot there again. I finally realized why so many public safety employees left after Katrina and they’ve had such a hard time replacing them since. 16 years and the city is still undermanned and overpowered. 16 years. fricking crack house arse city.
Jesus, Let me get a damn nap.

the looting itself is enough
but lying about the looting for reasons ….that aren’t defendable.
is the exact reason why the decent, tax paying, “grocery cart returning” minority in cities like New Orleans are throwing up their hands and walking away.

The average person there just doesnt give a shite about anything. Eventually, that bleeds over into the good people.
Its a lost cause

Ask for Clayton or Mike in St. George, they left with perks I believe after Katrina.
They might be retired by now?
