I have a 30ft RV camper with one AC. I’m looking to buy a generator and not exactly sure what size I need. Looking for one that I can use to run my AC and all my electrical. Water heater is gas/electric, stove is gas. Thanks in advance.

30amp or 50 amp camper?

Harbor freight/ northern tool 3500 invertor will run everything on your 30 amp camper

Champion and a few other brands have dual fuel if that interests you.

I looking at an offroad teardrop camper. It has a 5000 btu ac and a small tv and fridge. Would a honda 2200 run all of these?

7.2 kw from a Ford Powerboost F150. It's the quietest generator on the market.

I would say yes. I have a 22' with a coleman mach 2 13,500 but and it runs everything. Not water heater and refrigerator. Converted the Honda to propane so it runs off propane bottles, and installed a soft start on my ac. Youtube is your friend for info on combinations and generators and all things RV.

northern tool 3500 invertor

They ran some test and disassembled both this one and the predator.

NORTHERN TOOL had a bunch of the same components but a lot were plastic on the inside vs the harbor freight.

the harbor freight ones are great, I have a honda 2000 its quiet but get a portable and you can move it away from your camp area and there are plenty of tricks to quieten them more. for the money buy the harbor freight run it a few hours dump the oil and use a quality oil in it and keep it changed about every 30-50 hours its not much oil and its cheap. keep an extra spark plug try not to ever use gas with ethanol in it you won't have any issues.

i have a 30 foot camper trailer with 30 amps and ran it with 2 honda 2000’s paralleled and they ran it pretty well but ive since upgraded to a honda 7000

youll have to shut off lights to run the microwave with the 2200 and you can run your fridge off gas instead of prime power but itll do what you need
