I mean, it's hard to argue otherwise when you compare mainstream evangelical/baptist theology that of high protestantism/catholicism/eastern orthodoxy. From the outside looking in, American evangelical theology is extremely shallow and lacking sound apologetics. It's the Natty Light of christianity, and as much a political ideology as a religious one in many ways.
