quote:He wasn't beat out by those guys, especially Koy Moore. Racey always was on the field, he just wasn't targeted as much as you would have liked him to be, and I think it had to do with his route running and stuff. He just had trouble getting open a lot, but when he did he made the receptions. In the NFL he will get the necessary training with better coaching, he wasn't getting that from Joseph. McMath has the size and speed to become a solid WR in the NFL.
He was beat out last year by Koy Moore - true freshman and Jaray Jenkins.
With Kary Vincent, I wish he had stayed and got that extra season of work in at safety at LSU. He was coming along good at that position and could have developed into a much higher draft pick with the work. But it's done now and he'll just have to get coached up in the NFL, he can develop into a fine safety or nickel back in the NFL. LSU players always turn into solid NFL players in the NFL because they finally get the better coaching in the NFL that they weren't getting at LSU. Not sure why it's always been like that, but it is what it is, Hunter the DE for Minny became a beast after he left LSU.
