No one wants to be mayor of this city. Get used to her. Sad state of affairs.

Someone will jump in the race against her. Not sure they will win, but someone will see the opportunity and run.

Don’t spend a dime in NOLA. As long as she’s in charge it’s a dead city.

Whole Foods in Lafayette is still keeping the faith and requiring masks. No surprise there

I’m sure Trader Joe’s, Walmart, and Starbucks will as well. Time for you baws to start shopping at local places

Good thing that I don't shop Whole Foods. I've started going into WalMart and Sams Club here in Lafayette without a mask. Nobody says anything when we walk in without a mask. In fact, we haven't had anyone in any store say anything when we walk in. If anyone says anything, I will tell them that I've had the virus and the vaccination, which is true. They will have to decide if they believe in the vaccine or not.

I feel bad for NOLA people who got vaccinated. You have a despicable mayor.

Because they’re protected and, thus, liberal sheep, by standards commonplace here.

So getting the vaccination makes you a liberal sheep?

That is my understanding, having done many hours of research here.

Of course she will....SHE'S SAVING LIVES!! Probably only about 12 if that many, and weighed against the 100's of businesses she put under forever and livelihoods ruined and costs that are unseen but significant that we'll never hear about.

Someone on that level makes sense. I just want all the people who openly vote for Latoya to have to justify the last 4 years as evidence so the next 4 I can remind them over and over that they had the evidence they needed to vote for anyone else.

Just told to leave Planet Fitness in BR for not wearing a mask.

Masks are required to walk from one piece of equipment to another.

Full blown mask nazis.

The voters don’t care about her record. They only want a black person elected that will say frick you white people. Stop supporting this city and let it become Rhodesia; complete economic and society collapse.

I'm not sure how their ownership structure is set up, but there must be some loons at the very top who are pushing how the gyms must handle the mask policy.

I went as a guest to a Planet Fitness last week and was floored by how many people had on mask while using equipment, even on treadmills and such. It did seem like an alarm might go off if someone took their mask off to walk around.

As a contrast, I work out at an Ochsner Fitness Center and they haven't been enforcing anything like that for at least three months.
