I drove through there one day. The homes are nicer than rouzan’s. The problem is that it’s in the middle of nowhere. It’s next to nothing except the casino and you’ll probably need flood insurance. There’s still a lot of empty lots that who knows when it will be fully built over.

I think up the river there are trying to build another subdivision. Not sure where they are at since it’s been a while since I’ve been over that way.

isn't the ground along near the river higher? and why would ANYONE in this area NOT have flood insurance?

Are you saying people in Pointe Marie will need flood insurance because its close to the Mississippi River? Got a little news for you. If the levee ever fails everything south of Highland Rd will be wiped out.
