I really wish somebody at Carhartt would recognize the $$$ they could make from introducing a line similar to Patagonia/REI type offerings. Surely those companies have some conservative/non-political product mangers that would jump at the chance to leave wokeville.

Great idea. I began using products from those companies when I began climbing rock/ice. They were beautifully made and worked. The gear was bombproof and the clothes were functional. They cost a lot but lasted forever.

Yvone Chouinard got started at Yosemite making pitons for big wall routes. He was a pioneer and a legend that I had great respect for. When he got woke it broke my heart.

There are a lot of other outdoor companies out there. Look into Bass Pro's brand Ascend.

Arc’teryx might be the least woke? They have a military and law enforcement product line.

They have a blurb about climate and sustainability on their website though.

Havent they been pushing their advertising towards the younger hip (ie woke) crowd?

I definitely look for a companies "mission" page in their site more now to see if my purchase is going to be sent off to some woke cause. Sadly many are.

Just make the product and stop virtue signaling. If anything this garbage and covid did wonders on curing my shopaholic side. Saved tons of money the last few yrs in my random late night can't sleep "oh those look cool" shopping budget.
