This would be an extremely disappointing loss. Clear starting pitching advantage and Matzek, Newcomb, and Minter are fresh.

I just realized Luke Jackson and Matzek are the only two pitchers on the roster with an ERA of zero.
New closer, amirite?

Seeing Ender in the lineup brings me flashbacks of BJ Upton

Such a disappointing start to the season.
My overreacting hot take of the day is that we have some great players, but with the state of our pitching staff, we’ll be lucky to finish the season above .500, much less sniff the playoffs.
That being said, frick the fish. Let’s get a win tonight.

To be fair, Pache isn't even an upgrade at the plate right now.

They’re essentially the exact same player right now. Pache has the better arm but Ender is a slightly better fielder because Pache takes some aggressive angles to the ball.
But Pache is a decade younger, so, potential

Morton might end up being our best pitcher this year

I think Huascar Ynoa is going to be the best. Dudes been nuts so far

frick this front office for us even entertaining such a possibility.

It'll be interesting to see how the rotation plays out all season. I'm not concerned about Morton. The rest seem like a giant question mark.

Sorry for being dramatic, but this team isn’t even worth watching right now.

After Ozuna, I don’t even think about these guys scoring, just cycling through to Acuña

This team is fricking trash. My god. Gonna get swept by the Marlins at home in 4 games.

Snit needs to get off his arse and manage this team. It’s absurd that a team with this much talent is so fricking bad

Good Lord.
How many 2 out hits with RISP have our pitchers given up in the last week?

(Half joking when I say this)
Maybe there will be a market for Morton and Smyly at the deadline?
