Almost any disease CAN or MAY cause this or that. Just another scare tactic. Just like the recommendation of six feet changed to three feet for physical distance and you need to disinfect every surface daily to you don't need disinfect surfaces a year later.

Tied to cardio issues.
We have friends who were 1/2 Marathoners and hardcore backpacker that have failed their stress tests.

I'm 50 and had covid 3 months ago. It's turning darker but not growing. I thought that's how it works according to the OT
