A recent analysis of BNT162b2 vaccine data estimated vaccine efficacy of 89–91% during days 15–28 after the first dose.
Is this a gotcha?
That’s pretty damn good. It would make sense that the trials were more successful than real world data due to the trial participants being less at risk (better immune systems).

Not true at all. not one single person I know who says they aren't getting the vaccine said anything differently before the election. All I hear close to that is complaints that Biden is getting credit for something Trump really is responsible for ramping up so quickly.

'm healthy and in my 30s. I already had covid at some point and didn't even know I had it. I'm pretty low risk but I got the vaccine so I wouldn't have to miss work if I get exposed again or spread the ronies around to my family. no regerts.
You were probably one of the many, many false positives. They lowered the sensitivity an hour after Biden was inaugurated so it should be better now

Maybe you missed the part where I posted that they are now rigging the data?

lulz
They said their data now shows better efficacy after one dose, than it does after 2

I got both doses of Pfizer for n January and haven’t worn one outside of a hospital, since.

Are you forgetting that the major democrats were mostly advising folks not to take “Trump’s rushed vaccine”?

This comment in the IG page of a NOLA restaurant that announced they’ll be going back to their original model where they did not offer takeout

But you aren’t getting a “card” with just 1 Pfizer shot
You do
I got a Pfizer shot and did not get a “completed” card. I got a card saying when my next shot was due.

That’s cool.
Still don’t want it.

The whole if Trump had won they would be taking the vaccine is just BS based on pure conjecture and no actual facts.
Trump is the reason we have a vaccine now. Trump has endorsed the vaccine on multiple occasions.
As opposed to our new VP who actually said that she wouldn’t take a Trump vaccine.

What's the problem? The healthiest among us get the virus and recover at a 99% rate
Dude, quit saying this misinformation. It is wrong, and it undermines your point. Young healthy people recover at a far higher rate than 99%. The general population, including the most vulnerable, recovers at a 99.4% rate.

Sounds like asymptomatic people don't spread the virus. I thought this had been covered.

Wow, so I have been in FL the last year, everything is wide open, old people on the beach, sick of the mask mandates in the NE states not wearing masks, and I have yet to get sick and die *gasp*. We eat out, don't wear masks to shop annnnd *drum roll* nothing bad has happened to me or anyone I know. I have had grandparents in and out of hospitals, up North, no COVID death for them. I am not an anti-vaxxer, but this one, no thanks.
